Ready, Steady, Cycle! The Cycle of Hope is coming to Southport in aid of North West Cancer Research, with four intrepid cyclists from the Brown Turner Ross office set to don their best lycra on July 4.
Dusting off their saddles and tackling the huge feat of endurance, director Kevin Ross, alongside employees Callum McCormack and Abigail Davidson, will be channeling their ‘inner Chris Hoy’, and aiming to tackle one of two routes through the beautiful Lancastrian countryside, all in aid of a fantastic charity.
Starting and finishing at Southport Rugby Club, one team will be going all out to complete the gruelling 60 mile trip, with the other cycling the energy sapping 60 kilometre route (assisted by friends of the company).
Also sponsoring two water stops at the event and playing a major role in fundraising, Brown Turner Ross teams will be flying the flag for Southport, with all of the money raised at the Cycle of Hope going towards supporting life-saving cancer research and education projects in the North West and North Wales.
Sam Bushell, director at Brown Turner Ross, said:
“North West Cancer Research is a charity that is very close to our hearts at Brown Turner Ross and we’re very proud to not only be supporting the event through sponsorship, but also to be submitting two teams of cyclists, who I know will be giving there all to raise as much money as possible between now and July!”
